My clients have included include Al Jazeera, BBC College of Journalism, IREX, BBC Local Radio, Ofcom, MDIF, BBC Media Action, BBC Trust, Thomson Foundation, BBC World Service, Arab States Broadcasting Union.
Recent projects have included a two-year project working with Wazema Radio in Ethiopia to support their transition from a diaspora-based audio company to an Addis-based multimedia company.
I have enjoyed working with many Sri Lankan media organisations over the last four years, both via Zoom and in person. This has included coaching print journalists to develop their writing skills, supporting media advocacy organisations to move from activism to a more strategic approach, and working with digital entrepreneurs to develop their editorial strategies.
I’ve spent a good deal of time in recent years working in Algeria, supporting managers in helping them deliver change and launching Algeria’s first public service youth radio programme.
I also act as a named ‘key expert’ on media development projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and have worked extensively in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan.
